A small studio. A focused stack.
Pyriter is a software studio building TypeScript libraries and shipping production apps on AWS. We work close to the metal — no fluff, no over-engineering.
Who we are
We're a tiny team of senior engineers with backgrounds in cloud infrastructure, trading platforms, and consumer web apps. We've shipped systems that handle millions of requests per day, and we've debugged enough production incidents to know what kinds of abstractions actually pay off.
Pyriter exists because we got tired of reaching for bloated frameworks every time we needed something simple. The @pyriter npm packages are the tools we built for ourselves. We open-source them because we'd want them to exist if someone else had built them first.
What we do
We split our time between two things:
- Open-source libraries — TypeScript packages we publish on npm. Used in our own products and by anyone else who finds them useful.
- Custom builds — engagements where we design and ship something end-to-end. Backend services, AWS infrastructure, React/Astro frontends.
How we work
Small, focused libraries
We publish packages that do one thing and stay out of your dependency graph. No mega-frameworks, no leaky abstractions.
Production over hype
Every library we ship runs in our own production apps before we recommend it to anyone else. If we wouldn't bet on it, we don't ask you to.
